About the role

As a Night Trading Manager at Coles, you will be responsible for leading a team of retail professionals in a fast-paced environment. You will have full accountability of store operations during the evening and night trade, ensuring that the store is exceptionally presented, welcoming, and engaging for customers, team members, and the community.

Key responsibilities include guiding team members, allocating tasks, and providing support and direction to deliver exceptional customer service. You will also be responsible for maintaining Coles' visual merchandising, safety, compliance, and stock management standards.

About you and your skills

  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Direct leadership experience, with a proven track record of leading, coaching, and developing teams to meet sales targets, cost control, and rostering requirements
  • Strong customer service skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a focus on driving a one-team culture
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers, team members, and stakeholders
