AI Researcher for High-Impact Systems

  • Job Description:

We are looking for an exceptional researcher with a passion for applying artificial intelligence to high-impact domains such as mental health and well-being. As an AI researcher at Sonder, you will be responsible for researching, fine-tuning, and optimizing open-source large language models (LLMs) using advanced techniques such as PEFT, Lo RA, and QLo RA. You will also contribute to the design and implementation of our personalization and recommendation engines to deliver tailored, proactive support to our members.

  • Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in machine learning, AI, computer science, or a closely related quantitative field. You should have hands-on experience fine-tuning open-source LLMs, deep theoretical and practical understanding of transformer architectures, attention mechanisms, and training dynamics. Additionally, you should have solid experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow, and proficiency in Python.
