As a Trade Sales Account Development professional, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive excellent service and support in their purchases.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside a fun and experienced team to provide expert product knowledge, answer calls, process orders, and resolve customer enquiries. You will have the chance to gain knowledge of our products and the construction industry, making a meaningful contribution to the success of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage inbound and outbound phone calls, emails, and web enquiries from trade customers and convert sales into profitable opportunities.
  • Proactively contact new customers to promote products, campaigns, or offers that meet their needs.
  • Follow up quotes to closure managed in Salesforce/OneNumber, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Identify opportunities for cross-sell and upsell across product categories, driving revenue growth and increasing customer satisfaction.
  • Process and follow up sale orders and quotes in a timely manner and accurately in the system (SAP), maintaining high levels of efficiency and productivity.
  • Work collaboratively with Trade Sales and Business Development teams to support sales in the region, achieving mutual goals and objectives.
  • Effectively manage margin, contract pricing, discounting, and price increases to ensure gross profit maintenance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, delivering a high level of WOW service and retention through effective communication and issue resolution.
  • Liaise with warehouse and operations teams to ensure timely order fulfilment, meeting customer expectations and improving overall customer satisfaction.
  • Accurately enter and maintain customer data in CRM/ERP platforms, ensuring data integrity and quality.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge and training of Jaybro's full product categories, range, and processes, staying ahead of industry trends and competitor activity.
Requirements
  • Proven experience with inbound and outbound calls, upselling, and cross-selling, preferably in a construction-related industry, with a proven track record of success.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to adapt to different audiences and situations.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to multitask and prioritise competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment, with a collaborative mindset and a willingness to support colleagues.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and experience using CRM software, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Highly motivated and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional results and exceeding customer expectations.
