About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team at Bupa Dental - Toowong. As a key member of our dental team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dentists in delivering high-quality treatment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a clean and organized environment, ensuring all equipment and facilities are prepared for dental treatment.
  • Deliver quality chairside assistance to our dentists, ensuring patients receive the best possible care.
  • Provide instrument sterilization and maintain infection control standards and procedures.
  • Meet and greet patients, providing a warm and welcoming first impression.
  • Book and amend appointments, answer phone calls, and update patient records.
  • Support the Practice Manager and clinical team in the smooth running of the practice.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Requirements

  • 3 months+ experience as a Dental Assistant or Medical Receptionist preferred but not essential.
  • Current Working with Children's Check (Blue Card) or willingness to obtain one.
  • Strong customer care focus, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Maturity and reliability, with a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a knack for systematic approaches.
