Strategic Credit Leader

Build a legacy in lending by shaping smart credit decisions that drive business growth and protect risk.

You'll be the go-to expert for analysing, structuring, and decisioning complex commercial submissions. Exercising your Delegated Approval Authority (DAA), you'll ensure every deal is sound, strategic, and aligned with our policies and pricing standards.

As a key player in driving our growth and purpose of building social capital through banking, you'll collaborate closely with our Retail and Business Bank teams to streamline approvals and unlock opportunities for customers.

This is a national role that offers real influence – partnering with Relationship teams, mentoring colleagues, and contributing to credit policy and strategic initiatives.

About you

You're a seasoned credit professional with proven experience, ideally with exposure to large Health or commercial customer segments. You've held significant credit approval authority and know how to assess complex financials, structure deals, and mitigate risk.

You bring a strong customer focus and a collaborative mindset. Your ability to communicate with empathy and clarity makes you a trusted advisor across the business.
