Lead Educator Position

We are seeking a qualified and passionate Lead Educator to join our centre. This role offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young children and contribute to their growth and development.

The successful applicant will have a strong understanding of early childhood education principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will be able to create engaging programs tailored to the developmental needs and interests of children, establish a positive and inclusive classroom environment, and foster strong relationships with families and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Curriculum Development: Develop and implement high-quality educational programs that promote children's learning and development.
  • Classroom Management: Establish and maintain a safe and stimulating learning environment that encourages curiosity and creativity.
  • Programming and Planning: Plan and document children's learning and development in line with national standards and frameworks.
  • Family Collaboration: Build and maintain effective relationships with families through regular communication and collaboration.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve shared goals and objectives.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Diploma level qualification in Education and Care.
  • Desirable 1 year experience in a lead educator role.
  • Strong understanding of early childhood development and best practices in early childhood.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
