Employment Type: full time 38 hours across 5 days
Pay: $40.65 - $41.98 p/h + super

As the Assistant Director at Goodstart Flora Hill you'll leverage your expertise and leadership to inspire and motivate your centre team, driving continuous improvement across all areas of centre operations. Collaborate with our dedicated leadership team, forge respectful and reciprocal relationships with families, and actively engage with the local community networks.
In this role, you will:
Support the Centre Director in the leadership of the team to provide high-quality early learning and care
Mentor and build capabilities within the centre team
Be responsible for the overall management of the centre in the Centre Director's absence
Use and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide
About Goodstart Goodstart Flora Hill:
We are a 75 place purpose-built centre located in central Bendigo
Our centre is on the lands of the Dja Dja Wurrung people and we embed the culture and values of the Djaara people into our curriculum and environments

You'll need:
Diploma of Early Childhood or equivalent qualification (ACECQA approved)
Hold a current Working with Children Check, or be willing to obtain one
Holds a current Police Check or is willing to obtain one upon request
Substantial experience as a Senior Educator or in a similar role
Working in a float position, mentor and build capabilities mentor within the centre team by providing hands-on support, sharing best practice, and fostering professional growth
