Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, analysis, and reporting of infrastructure projects, focusing on the development of new proposals.
  • Provide expert advice on infrastructure, asset management, and planning-related systems, policies, and projects.
  • Coordinate co-design strategies with a particular focus on engaging Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver successful infrastructure projects and improve processes.
  • Develop performance measures to evaluate and report on key infrastructure programs.
  • Prepare reports, submissions, briefing notes, and correspondence as required.
  • Occasionally travel to remote communities, including remote driving and light aircraft flights.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience managing multiple tasks and working within tight deadlines in an evolving environment.
  • Strong knowledge of project and program management methodologies, with experience in leading multidisciplinary teams to achieve strategic goals.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, especially in working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and OneNote.
  • Experience with SAP
  • Strong budgeting, reporting, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Formal qualifications in project management or built environment disciplines are highly regarded, but not mandatory.
  • Strong project and program reporting experience is essential.

Mandatory Requirement:

  • A Blue Card (working with children check) will be required prior to employment.
