About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Retail Planner to join our Global Merchandising Team in Brisbane, Australia. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled planner to lead category and product level sales, GP, and inventory plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop pre-season strategies and budgets, as well as in-season re-forecasting;
  • Collaborate with Buyers to develop product assortment, focusing on customer-centric ranging with high in-stock availability;
  • Plan delivery and product phasing to ensure entry and exits are executed with space, inventory, realistic sell-down plans, and GP maximisation considerations;
  • Manage Over The Budget (OTB), maintaining accurate financial Working Stock Status Indicator (WSSI), quantifying monthly core replenishment at product level, quarterly newness quantification, and ensuring spend aligns with budget;
  • Drive enhanced reporting and analysis, focusing on attribute-level learnings and actions, leading pre-, in-, and post-season reporting and analysis;
Requirements:
  • Extensive planning experience in a retail environment;
  • Strong business acumen supported by advanced system, forecasting, analytical, and reporting skills, including expertise in Excel;
  • Inquisitive nature with a natural ability to identify anomalies;
  • Solutions-focused approach to problem-solving;
  • Ability to lead a planning team and work alongside buying teams with a collaborative open approach;
  • Positive and caring leadership style with experience developing junior planning teams;
  • Ability to prioritise and set internal timelines for self and team, achieving deadlines and critical paths;

$120,000 - $150,000 per annum (dependent on experience) in Brisbane, Australia.
