Senior Planner Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Planner to join our team at Dugald River Mine, one of the world's top 10 zinc operations. As a Senior Planner, you will play a critical role in driving business efficiencies and leading a team to achieve successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies for all equipment and infrastructure on site using ARMS program OnePM.
  • Lead a team to create, maintain, and modify site maintenance strategies.
  • Support the creation, scope, and planning of maintenance work orders.
  • Build and communicate accurate weekly work schedules reflecting all maintenance activities.
  • Review and improve maintenance practices to enable effective maintenance performance.
  • Develop task lists for reoccurring work to support effective planning.
  • Maintain site master data changes as required.
  • Assist execution teams with commentary for monthly variance meetings.
Requirements:
  • Extensive planning and scheduling experience in mineral processing fixed plant maintenance or UG mobile fleet operations environment.
  • Demonstrated knowledge in strategy creation and failure mode elimination.
  • Ability to adapt to changes in work area responsibilities.
  • Technical trades qualification or Engineering qualifications in the appropriate discipline.
  • Manual driver's license.
  • High level understanding of common Maintenance practices and standards.
  • Exceptional knowledge of SAP in particular SAP PM and Master Data objects.
