Job Description:

Our organization is seeking an experienced administration professional to join its livestock support team. This role will be based at our Albany branch, ensuring smooth administration and customer service across livestock activities at the Mt Barker saleyards.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Performing all aspects of Livestock Administration including advertising for the preparation of on-farm sales; signage, brochures, collateral
  • Coordinating all NLIS transfers, ensuring compliance procedures are followed
  • Providing professional and timely customer service to existing and prospective clients
  • Managing vendor and purchaser accounts relevant to all Livestock transactions
  • Participating in sales and marketing initiatives
  • Handling Livestock related enquiries to Saleyards & surrounding region
  • Collecting and processing all livestock reports and sharing them with relevant stakeholders
  • Assisting with ad hoc livestock activities where needed

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a team support role in a busy environment
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Problem-solving skills and empathy to resolve customer issues promptly
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent computer skills including SAP, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, with the ability to learn new systems quickly
  • A current and clean full driver's license
