At our organization, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate support worker to fill this vital role.

About the Position

As a support worker, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing personal care and assistance to individuals with disabilities
  • Assisting with daily living activities, such as cooking, laundry, and cleaning
  • Offering emotional support and a listening ear

Requirements

  • A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle (insured)
  • The ability to be flexible and adapt to changing client needs
  • A judgement-free attitude
  • A current first aid certificate or willingness to obtain one
  • A current NDIS worker screening check or willingness to obtain one
  • A current police check or willingness to obtain one
  • Desirable: experience in support work; however, on-the-job training will be provided

Working Conditions

  • A casual position available for evening and night shifts
  • Sleepovers may be required
  • Public holidays and weekend availability
  • Penalty rates apply
