Therapeutic Care Specialist Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to provide support services for children and young people aged 15 - 18 years who have experienced childhood trauma, abuse or neglect.

This vital role involves working closely with our team to ensure the safety and well-being of these young individuals, providing them with a supportive environment where they can thrive.

The successful candidate will play a key part in helping these young people learn independent life skills, develop problem-solving skills and build positive relationships with others.

  • A Diploma in Community Services or related field (or higher) is highly regarded, however relevant experience and a willingness to complete the Diploma qualification offered by us is also accepted.
  • A current Provide First Aid (HLTAID011) certificate is required.
  • Supporting activities of daily living, including personal care may be necessary.

Candidates will need to undergo probity checks, including a National Criminal History Record Check, NSW Working with Children Check and NSW Residential Care Workers Register check.
