Senior Project Manager

Urbis is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our Development and Project Management team. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in growing our new service stream capabilities and shaping the future of our built infrastructure service offering.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, with experience in managing consultants and contractors on projects exceeding $25 million in construction value. You will be responsible for providing expert guidance throughout all phases of the project lifecycle, managing portfolio- and project-level delivery excellence, client satisfaction, internal and external resourcing, and engagement profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver insightful analysis to inform development strategies for clients through all stages of the project lifecycle.
- Act as a single point of accountability for the management of the development process, internal resource management process for assigning resources to project teams across all Australian projects.
- Lead and manage the planning, administration, resourcing, reporting, and documentation for the end-to-end delivery of multiple projects concurrently.
- Lead the design quality outcomes required for the project, accurately report and communicate on progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.
- Lead contract procurement negotiations and administration for consultants and contractors ensuring probity, following project governance, securing favourable terms and maintaining strong working relationships throughout the project.
- Proactively and collaboratively contribute to operations and team well-being.
- Contribute to the creation of project management processes and procedures to standardise delivery efforts across the Urbis service streams.
About you:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Project Management, Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, Urban Planning, Property, or Law.
- 7+ years' experience in Project Management within the Australian real-estate market, 3 years in a client-side project management consultancy firm, ideally across 2 or more sectors.
- Demonstrated experience managing consultants and contractors on projects exceeding $25 million in construction value.
- Familiarity with various contractual forms.
- Strong built environment delivery project planning and coordination skills.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management and the ability to build strong, professional relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors.
- Advanced knowledge and proficiency with MS tools including Excel and Project.
- Agile and thrives in fast-paced and constantly shifting environments.
