Iron Ore Supply Chain Analysis Specialist

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading research on iron ore supply chain dynamics, costs, and emissions. This involves analyzing data to inform the publication of our Iron Ore Cost Service, contributing to the development of Iron Ore Emissions Analysis Tools, and providing insights for our Iron Ore Market Outlook and Steel Long-term Market Outlook.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and analysis of iron ore supply chain trends and drivers
  • Development of market intelligence reports and tools
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams to integrate findings into business strategies
  • Identification of opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement

Requirements:

  • Master's degree or higher in a relevant field (geology, mining engineering, process engineering, metallurgy, or similar)
  • Practical experience in mining and metals, energy, or a related industry
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to identify trends and key drivers
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proven problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Commercial awareness and ability to analyze complex data
