Seeking a dedicated professional to join our housing team as a Housing Specialist. This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality, person-centred social assistance services to diverse customers experiencing complex and challenging situations.

The Housing Specialist will work in various settings, including government departments, not-for-profit organisations, and real estate companies. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing customer service in person, digitally, by telephone, correspondence, in the field, and through outreach services in the community.
  • Managing new and unexpected events and demonstrating judgement about when to escalate issues.
  • Embracing new challenges and showing resilience during times of change and uncertainty.
  • Utilising proficient Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Delivering person-centred solutions with a focus on teamwork.
  • Having experience within not-for-profit organisations and/or real estate.

To be successful in this role, candidates must have demonstrated experience in customer service roles and hold a Class C Driver's Licence.

A competitive hourly rate is offered from $39 per hour + super for working in a government department centrally on the Gold Coast, Australia. The successful candidate will also benefit from a dynamic work environment and opportunities for professional growth and development.
