Job Overview

The Registered Midwife plays a vital role in providing woman-centered, evidence-based midwifery care. This position involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating midwifery care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.

You will work in the high-risk Antenatal ward, specializing in complex pregnancy, and have opportunities to work with/alongside our Multi-disciplinary Team in the Fetal Medicine/Day Assessment Unit.

This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires a strong understanding of evidence-informed practice and critical thinking.

Ideal Candidate
  • Current midwifery registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
  • Ability to work a 7-day rotating roster.
  • Demonstrated understanding of evidence-informed practice and critical thinking.
