Senior MEP Cost Manager Position

  • Lead the team in delivery of MEP services from feasibility cost planning to agreement of final account.
  • Manage and develop the team to deliver high-quality MEP services.
  • Lead MEP bid opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the Queensland Director to grow MEP cost management opportunities.
  • Assist in feasibility studies and write procurement reports.
  • Estimate and cost plan, including producing and presenting the final cost plan to internal and external clients.
  • Deal effectively with post-contract cost variances and change control processes.

Key qualifications include:

  • A recognized degree qualification in quantity surveying, construction management, or engineering.
  • MRICS/AIQS accreditation or equivalent.
  • Relevant work experience, ideally in a consultancy environment.
  • Great understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • Experience in cost management.
  • Proficiency in software relevant to cost estimation.
  • Ability to demonstrate attention to detail.
  • Team player with ability to work autonomously.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English, with excellent report and bid writing skills.
  • Highly motivated and driven, with passion for delivering to clients and working independently.
