Job Role:

We are seeking an ICT Infrastructure Support Officer to join our team in a pivotal role. This individual will be responsible for supporting and operating the Agency's onsite data networks and unified communication hardware and services.

Responsibilities:

  • Work as an onsite liaison to senior technical staff and vendors.
  • Support telephony and unified communications services, including video conferencing and audio-visual technologies.
  • Provide support for physical network services onsite, including hardware replacements, patching and break fix troubleshooting.
  • Assist with Microsoft 365 platform support.
  • Assist with asset logistics, including receipt and distribution.
  • Update and maintain ICT asset registration, including asset moves.
  • Participate in asset refresh and upgrade projects, including rollout of ICT operating systems across desktop and mobile devices.
  • Communicate effectively with key stakeholders, including senior executives.
  • Implement technical change management activities.
  • Investigate technical problems assigned to the team and engage others to assist in addressing such problems.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in ICT operations roles.
  • Experience covering infrastructure, telephony, and networks.
  • Understanding of ITIL best practice.
  • High-level conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with ability to develop creative solutions to complex problems.
  • High-level customer service and support skills.
  • Experience working in Government or providing services to Government agencies is advantageous.
