Optimize and Oversee Balance Sheet Operations

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the efficient allocation of resources and maximizing financial performance.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of financial markets and a strong analytical skillset, with experience in modeling and optimizing balance sheet outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Model and optimize the bank's balance sheet to ensure efficient allocation of resources and maximization of financial performance.
  • Oversee the hedging of fixed-rate lending and deposit products while monitoring interest rate risk metrics to ensure compliance with established limits.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the drivers behind a bank's Profit and Loss and leverage analytical and financial modelling expertise to deliver valuable risk and commercial insights to senior stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Strong academic background in a financial or quantitative degree such as accounting, finance, engineering, actuarial, or mathematics.
  • 3+ years of experience in a Treasury-related role.
  • Good understanding of financial markets and key risk factors for financial products, including banking products and interest rate derivatives.
