Women's Crisis Advocate

The position is open for a compassionate and skilled case manager to provide support and advocacy to women experiencing domestic and family violence, with a focus on CALD communities.
We seek an individual with strong knowledge of domestic and family violence theories and practices to join our team in providing trauma-informed support, crisis intervention, and case management services.
- Provide trauma-informed care to victims of domestic and family violence.
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and safety planning.
- Offer advocacy, information, and referrals across legal, housing, health, and community services.
- Deliver crisis intervention services and ongoing case management.
The successful candidate will have:
- A degree or diploma in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, or a related field.
- Experience in crisis support, risk assessment, and safety planning.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations.
- Understanding of DFV dynamics and the needs of CALD, migrant, and refugee communities.
- A current Driver's Licence, Blue Card, and National Police Check.
