Supporting Women and Families Against Domestic Violence

We deliver critical support and advocacy for women experiencing domestic violence through our SARA Domestic Violence Support Program.
This role provides case management, crisis support, and advocacy to women experiencing DFV, including those with complex needs and high-risk situations.
About the Role- Provide support to victims of domestic violence using a trauma-informed approach.
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and safety planning that promote ongoing safety of women and children.
- Offer advocacy, information, and referrals across legal, housing, health, and community services.
- Degree or diploma in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, or a related field is essential.
- Experience in crisis support, risk assessment, and safety planning is highly valued.
- Knowledge of domestic violence theories and practices, including trauma-informed approaches, is crucial.
- Make a meaningful difference in the lives of women and families.
