Lead Science Education

Wyong Christian Community School seeks an experienced and qualified Secondary Teacher to lead science education. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, keen to engage and inspire students, and committed to Christian Education.

The position focuses on curriculum leadership, participating in delivering the school's Vision, developing teaching quality, and nurturing positive relationships between students, teachers, and stakeholders.

  • Affirm a personal belief in the school's Statement of Faith
  • Have an active involvement within their local church
  • Provide evidence of educational leadership skills
  • Display a high standard of competency and innovation within the classroom
  • Provide evidence of exemplary teaching skills together with sound curriculum knowledge from Stage 4 to Stage 6
  • Be an effective and reflective practitioner who displays strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Be committed to pedagogical advancement in their classroom
  • Demonstrate strong administrative skills with high flexibility and adaptability
