Global Market Access Leader

This is a high-profile leadership position that oversees the development of health economic and reimbursement strategies for innovative global healthcare products in the ANZ region.

The successful candidate will lead feasibility and impact assessments, develop market access plans, and prepare funding submissions based on clinical and economic evidence.

They will work closely with key internal stakeholders to contribute to the development of annual and strategic plan forecasts and strategies across brand teams.

  • Lead health economic and reimbursement strategy
  • Develop market access plans for new products
  • Prepare funding submissions and manage relevant teams and vendors
  • Review pricing of products and support brand teams in achieving commercial outcomes
  • Contribute to annual and strategic plan forecasts and strategies

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in leading market access strategy and reimbursement submissions for the ANZ pharmaceutical market.

They should possess strong people leadership capabilities, or be able to harness their coaching experience to step into a people leader role.

Tertiary qualifications in a health-related discipline, along with postgraduate qualifications in health economics, epidemiology, biostatistics, or public health, are essential.

A strong ability to influence and manage complex cross-functional teams and stakeholder relationships is also required.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute market access strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective product launches.
  2. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including health authorities, payers, and patient advocacy groups.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and develop solutions to drive revenue growth.
  4. Design and implement data-driven market research studies to inform product development and launch decisions.
