We are seeking a skilled Weekend Content Creator to join our team at Nine Entertainment. As a key member of our editorial team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality digital content that engages our audience and meets our business objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement content strategies that drive engagement and meet our business goals.
- Produce an average of four digital stories per shift across news, entertainment, and culture, which connect with our audience and help the editorial team reach our targets.
- Stay up-to-date with the news cycle and be prepared to pivot when major news breaks.
- Ensure stories are produced with a keen eye for accuracy, quality, and brand tone.
- Socialize each story across multiple platforms with best practices in mind.
- Work independently on weekend shifts.
- Experience in a digital newsroom.
- A keen sense of what young Australians care about.
- Their finger on the pulse of the news cycle and online conversation.
- A unique tone of voice or point of view.
- A Bachelor's degree in media, communications, journalism, or design (preferred, but not mandatory).
- Experience in social media management working across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, or YouTube (preferred, but not mandatory).
