Job Description

We are seeking a Student Statutory Planner to join our team on a temporary 12-month contract. As a planner, you will be responsible for providing quality and professional advice to customers under supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare high-quality planning advice to customers under the guidance of senior planners.
  • Provide expert advice to internal and external departments, agencies, and developers regarding planning legislation, regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Assist with the development of services, projects, and programs provided by the department.
  • Undertake other duties as directed within the skills and abilities of a position at this level.
Requirements
  • General knowledge of planning and related legislation impacting on the municipality.
  • Ability to research and analyze planning-related issues.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Well-developed customer service principles.
