About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Evolve Scientific. As a key member of our quality team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in our food manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct daily on-floor quality checks and oversee production processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain overall quality systems, including SOPs and training programs.
  • Assist in internal and external audits, including SQF and retailer audits.
  • Investigate customer complaints and non-conformances, and implement corrective actions.
  • Train staff on quality procedures and maintain GMP standards.
Requirements
  • Tertiary education in Food Science or a related field.
  • Previous work experience in a similar role within the food manufacturing industry.
  • Experience in high-risk industries or with short shelf-life products is highly desirable.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to lead and train junior staff.
