Project Management Excellence in Terminal Operations

  • Job Summary

The role requires a seasoned professional to lead the planning and execution of large-scale capital projects, overseeing all phases from development through to commissioning and close-out. The ideal candidate will have significant experience managing projects from a client-side perspective with multiple stakeholders in brownfields environments.

  • Key Responsibilities

The Senior Project Manager will:

  1. Lead project teams to deliver complex projects safely, on schedule, and within budget;
  2. Oversee all phases of project development, including front-end development, commissioning, and close-out;
  3. Manage delivery partners (EPC, EPCM, or Principal Contractors) to ensure safety, schedule, cost, and quality objectives are achieved;
  4. Drive project management excellence and robust HSE performance;
  5. Provide direct field supervision during execution phases;
  • Requirements

The successful candidate will possess:

  1. Significant experience managing projects from a client-side perspective with multiple stakeholders in brownfields environments;
  2. Demonstrated leadership experience in capital project delivery in a client-side project;
  3. Proven experience delivering projects in the $20M-$70M range within petrochemical, energy, terminal, or heavy industrial sectors;
  4. In-depth understanding of EPC, EPCM, and PC commercial arrangements, including contract administration and performance management;
  5. Experience in project controls, forecasting, risk management, and performance reporting;
  6. Tertiary qualifications in engineering, project management, or a related discipline.
