About the Role

The Project Manager will be responsible for the overall delivery of large-scale gas-fired power plant projects, encompassing civil, mechanical, and electrical works.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead strategic initiatives across all project phases: planning, execution, commissioning, and handover.
  • Evaluate performance to ensure timely delivery, within contractual obligations, and meeting quality and safety standards.
  • Foster stakeholder engagement with OEMs, government organisations, suppliers, customers, and community representatives.
Leadership Expectations:
  • Develop a high-performing project team, including discipline leads and project managers.
  • Drive a culture of accountability, collaboration, and safety across all project phases.
  • Demonstrate commitment to health, safety, and environmental excellence.

A seasoned professional with deep expertise in delivering large-scale power, energy, and infrastructure projects is required. The ideal candidate should bring sharp commercial insight, strategic thinking, and a hands-on leadership style, as well as the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams through clarity, integrity, and a performance-driven mindset.

This role requires strong leadership and technical skills to deliver projects that meet customer requirements and drive business growth.

Requirements
  • Strong experience in project management, preferably in the energy sector.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project needs.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Candidates should possess a degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, construction management) and hold a valid professional certification (e.g., PMP).
