Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Catering Assistant. This role involves providing high-quality food and delivering exceptional dining experiences to our residents.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a passion for delivering high-quality care to the elderly.

  • Resident Meal Service: Assist with meal preparation, provide a quality dining service, and support residents as required.
  • Team Support: Maintain a cooperative team spirit and work collaboratively with colleagues.
  • Workplace Safety: Work safely to protect yourself, your colleagues, and residents, adhering to all policies and procedures.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A heart and passion for delivering high-quality care to the elderly.
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) – desirable but not essential.
  • Good understanding of food safety practices, kitchen cleanliness, and hygiene.
  • Warm and empathetic interpersonal skills with experience interacting with a wide range of people.
  • Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with residents and their families.
  • NDIS and Police check clearance or willingness to obtain.
