Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor market trends and identify new product opportunities to drive business growth.
  • Develop innovative new product ranges and improve existing product ranges to meet customer needs.
  • Sourcing new suppliers that meet company standards of cost, quality, and ethics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure all products meet the highest quality standards.
  • Ensure timely production and delivery of goods from suppliers.
  • Monitor product success through sales and sell-through analysis.

Performance Metrics

  • Product margins via cost negotiations.
  • Quality reports completed on time, with action plans created where QA has failed.
  • Accuracy of all product specifications and associated records.
  • Timely management of new product ranges from concept to development to delivery.
  • Delivery of products on time from suppliers.
  • Sales performance of products in line with company financial objectives.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years' experience in product development, production management, and supplier negotiation.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Strong quality assurance background.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Initiative to recognize or identify potential problems or challenges early and resolution skills to implement solutions accordingly.
  • Australian Permanent Resident or Citizen.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Agile, autonomous, and a team player.
