Aurecon Australasia Pty Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Technical Director to lead our NSW Water Engineering Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering technical expertise and guidance on civil water infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the technical delivery and design management of civil water infrastructure projects, including investigations, studies, design, and construction phase technical advice.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the engineering team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality projects.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including Water Infrastructure NSW/WaterNSW, Department of Planning, Industry and Environment (DPIE), Hunter Water, and Sydney Water.
- Act as a senior member of the engineering team, providing mentoring and support to foster ongoing capability building and professional development.
Requirements:
- Hands-on experience in Civil Engineering, with a strong background in delivering concept and detailed design of water and wastewater infrastructure (pipelines and pump stations).
- Strong internal and external stakeholder management experience, with a can-do attitude and a strong team player who works well in an agile and collaborative environment.
- Ability to demonstrate a genuine passion for re-imagining engineering and a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
