Role Overview

  • Advise managers and personnel on maintaining exceptional standards in quality, risk, and compliance throughout the organization.
  • Establish and oversee systems to fulfill all legislative, regulatory, and contractual requirements, with a focus on VET standards and Skills First Funding.
  • Lead both internal and external compliance assessments, ensuring alignment with regulatory expectations.
  • Offer expert guidance on best practices and quality enhancement tailored to the organization's objectives.
  • Mentor and supervise the Compliance team to implement robust controls and avert non-compliance.
  • Facilitate the integration of innovative compliance systems that resonate with the organization's values and regulatory obligations.
  • Enhance the team's capabilities to effectively manage compliance across the organization.
  • Continuously monitor and report on compliance controls, ensuring ongoing improvement.
  • Guarantee precise and timely government reporting.
  • Contribute significantly to strategic planning, business forecasting, and budgeting initiatives.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, adept at influencing and engaging stakeholders.
  • Experience in overseeing compliance and quality assurance within vocational education is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems and compliance, particularly concerning AQTF, AQF, and Skills Funding contracts is preferred.
  • Demonstrated capability to lead and engage in quality and regulatory audits.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex systems in large training organizations.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Effective team leadership in a multicultural setting, emphasizing team capacity building.
  • Independent, innovative leadership with a proven history of implementing new service strategies.
  • Ability to cultivate strong relationships with diverse individuals, both internally and externally.
