Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership to the General Medical ward, ensuring efficient and effective management of nursing care that is evidence-based.
  • Coordinate the delivery of nursing care, ensuring compliance with ACSQHC National standards and best practices.
  • Accountable for the effective daily management of human, financial, and material resources, ensuring the ward operates smoothly and efficiently.

Essential Criteria
  • Current Registration with AHPRA.
  • Working with Children check.
  • Previous experience at NUM level or equivalent (min. 3 years local experience).
  • Compliance with ACSQHC National standards.
  • A strong commitment to developing in a management role.
  • Computer literacy, including MS Office and various databases.
  • Ability to work cohesively within a team environment.
  • Proven time management and prioritization skills.
  • Demonstrated HR management experience.
