Job Title: HSEQ Advisor

About This Role

The ideal candidate will be responsible for upholding health, safety, environmental, and quality standards across all projects.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and maintain the Integrated Management System (IMS).
  • Conduct site inspections, audits, and toolbox talks to monitor compliance with safety standards.
  • Prepare and review Project Risk Assessments, Safe Work Method Statements, and Risk Assessment Worksheets.
  • Support the resolution of Work Health and Safety issues by consulting with project teams and workers.
  • Coordinate internal audits and reviews of management system implementation, reporting on compliance.
  • Stay updated with industry-related events and legislative changes to ensure continuous improvement in safety practices.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in Health, Safety, and Environmental roles, preferably in construction or infrastructure.
  • Strong understanding of WHS legislation, construction safety standards, and risk management frameworks.
  • Experience managing complex site safety requirements across multiple project stages.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • A proactive approach to identifying hazards and implementing effective risk mitigation strategies.
