
Health and Safety Manager

The ideal candidate will be responsible for upholding health, safety, environmental, and quality standards across all projects.
Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and maintain the Integrated Management System (IMS).
- Conduct site inspections, audits, and toolbox talks to monitor compliance with safety standards.
- Prepare and review Project Risk Assessments, Safe Work Method Statements, and Risk Assessment Worksheets.
- Support the resolution of Work Health and Safety issues by consulting with project teams and workers.
- Coordinate internal audits and reviews of management system implementation, reporting on compliance.
- Stay updated with industry-related events and legislative changes to ensure continuous improvement in safety practices.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in Health, Safety, and Environmental roles, preferably in construction or infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of WHS legislation, construction safety standards, and risk management frameworks.
- Experience managing complex site safety requirements across multiple project stages.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- A proactive approach to identifying hazards and implementing effective risk mitigation strategies.
