Job Title: Health and Safety Manager
Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing health and safety compliance on large construction projects. This includes ensuring strict adherence to regulatory requirements, managing project safety plans and procedures, and conducting regular site inspections. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of enforcing safety programs, experience working on federal projects, and strong knowledge of Australian WHS legislation.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Key qualifications include a minimum of five years of experience in preparing and enforcing safety programs, a degree in occupational safety or related field, certification as a Certified Safety Professional (CSP), and current OSHA 30-hour and EM 385-1-1 training. Additionally, the candidate should possess strong communication skills, proficiency with MS Office products, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
