Job Title: Market Oversight Specialist

About the Role

The Market Oversight Specialist will oversee and analyze equity and derivatives products across exchanges. This role requires a strong understanding of financial markets, with a focus on equity, derivatives, and option pricing.

  • Pricing models and Greeks are utilized to assess and manage risks.
  • Trading and settlement processes are supervised, ensuring accuracy and adherence to compliance.
  • Client issues are addressed promptly while maintaining high standards of communication.
  • Critical decisions related to trading and risk management are made swiftly.
  • Algorithmic trading activities are monitored, ensuring adherence to relevant regulations.
  • Limit structures and control mechanisms are managed to mitigate trading risks.
  • Regulations and exchange standards are kept informed about to ensure compliance.
  • End-of-day backups are executed for all transactions, trades, and related activities.
  • Scripts associated with trading bans are managed and understood.
  • Order to Trade Ratio (OTR) and Persistant Noise Creators(PNC) transactions are handled effectively.
  • Trading APIs are utilized to enhance execution and integration processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications

This role requires:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in NSE/BSE products, option pricing models, communication, decision-making, algo trading compliance, and regulatory requirements.
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, able to manage pressure, proactive, and collaborative.
