Occupational Therapist - Cairns QLD

The position of Occupational Therapist is available in Cairns QLD. This role will involve providing high-quality occupational therapy services to clients in regional, rural and remote communities.

We are seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist with a strong background in occupational therapy and experience working with diverse populations. The successful candidate will have excellent clinical skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality occupational therapy services to clients in regional, rural and remote communities
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve client outcomes
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address client goals and needs
  • Provide professional supervision and guidance to allied health assistants
  • Participate in quality improvement activities to ensure best practice in occupational therapy delivery

Required Qualifications:

  • Tertiary degree (or equivalent) qualification in Occupational Therapy
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHRPA)
  • 3 years or more experience as an Occupational Therapist
