**Job Opportunity:** Engineering Design Manager Maritime

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Design Manager to join our Global Centre of Excellence in Australia.

This role will see you delivering fit for purpose solutions for clients, including design and construction phase services.

You will work closely with a diverse group of engineers and support staff who are committed to delivering the best outcomes for clients.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 10+ years of experience in the design, evaluation and reporting on ports, harbours, coastal works and marine structures
  • Proven track record of delivering high quality deliverables for Clients with consideration to project timelines and objectives
  • Ability to lead a multi-disciplinary team to deliver a fit for purpose solution which meets client requirements
  • Experience in the assessment, analysis, design and remediation of maritime structures (wharves, jetties, port developments, marinas, seawalls, pontoons etc)
  • General understanding of port and maritime operational requirements
  • Demonstrated skills in providing guidance and mentoring to less experienced staff to enhance their skills and capability
  • Familiarity with maritime (Australian, UK, US) design codes and guidelines
