Join our skilled multidisciplinary team of professionals working across a range of settings and services to deliver innovative mental health care to individuals suffering from, or at risk of, serious mental health problems.
Clinicians in this role will work closely with young people referred to the service to develop strategies that engage, treat and support those experiencing emerging psychotic symptoms, a first episode psychosis or relapsing from a first episode psychosis.
This role requires clinicians to provide specialised assessment and case management of young people experiencing a mental illness, particularly a first episode of psychosis. Additionally, you will be involved in community education and secondary consultations with partner agencies.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide assessment and intervention for adolescents accessing the CAMHS service for mental health assessment and intervention.
- Develop strategies to engage, treat and support young people with a mental health illness.
- Collaborate with young people, family, friends and their networks to provide education and resources.
- Skilled clinician with experience in mental health assessment and case management.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
