Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Educate customers and partners on the importance of Application Security and Software Supply Chain Security, empowering developers to stay secure.
  • Develop in-depth product and competitive acumen across our full product suite, including Open Source, Code, IaC, Container, and ASPM.
  • Act as the customer's buying consultant, becoming a technical product expert, evangelist, and coach, responsible for delivering tailored product demonstrations, enabling well-scoped and managed product trials, and coordinating RFP responses.
  • Interface with our engineering, product, and customer success teams to craft solutions that address our customers' specific needs.
  • Contribute to shaping and informing decisions on new features based on your experience and feedback from customers and channel partners.
  • Collaborate closely with channel partners to enhance their proficiency in selling and supporting the Snyk solution through their sales process and beyond.
  • Provide thought leadership to the market on topics related to Snyk and DevSecOps, driving awareness and adoption at both executive and practitioner levels.

Your Ideal Background:

  • 10+ years of experience in sales engineering, solutions consulting, developer, or security roles.
  • Strong knowledge of the developer, DevOps, Application Security, and ASPM ecosystems and practices.
  • Experience working closely with highly technical customers at the Enterprise level.
  • Familiarity with a wide variety of coding languages and their workings.
  • An appetite for learning about new technologies and curiosity about how things work under the hood.
  • Ability to plan and succeed, setting milestones, over-communicate, create alignment, rally resources, and satisfy stakeholders.
  • A team-oriented mindset.
  • A commitment to diversity and enjoyment in meeting people from all walks of life.
  • Strong business acumen dealing with multiple customer stakeholders and their challenges.
  • Ability to coach and mentor other SEs as well as cross-functional teams.
