Support Worker Job Description

This is a rewarding role that offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others. As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing care and support to clients in their own homes or in residential settings.

You will assist clients with daily activities such as personal care, mobility, and household tasks. You will also provide emotional support and companionship to help clients maintain their independence and dignity.

The ideal candidate will have a Certificate III or higher in Individual Support (Ageing, Home and Community) and current First Aid and CPR Certification. You will also require a National Police Clearance Certificate and a current Australian Driver's Licence. A registered vehicle with comprehensive car insurance and a smartphone are also necessary.

The successful applicant will work effectively in a team environment to provide high-quality care and support. They will also maintain accurate records and reports as required.
