Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Workshop Supervisor to join our team. As a Workshop Supervisor, you will play a key role in the coordination and supervision of service activities, ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest standards.

About the Role:

  • Coordinate and Assist Supervising Workshop Staff: You will be responsible for coordinating and assisting supervising workshop staff on repairs of equipment and components within set timeframes.
  • Issue Work Instructions: You will issue work instructions to ensure technicians and apprentices understand work requirements and labour times.
  • Maximise Team Labour Output: You will maximise team labour output through job control and communication with workshop staff.
  • Apply Safe Working Practices: You will apply safe working practices and maintain high housekeeping standards.
  • Ensure Employee Compliance: You will ensure employees adhere to the Company's Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) requirements.
  • Assist with Job Estimations: You will assist Workshop Supervisor with job estimations, planning, and progress.
  • Monitor Consumable Spend: You will monitor consumable spend, subcontract costs, and labour hours booked to jobs.
  • Represent the Organisation: You will represent the organisation positively and contribute to long-term profitability.
  • Provide Technical Support: You will provide technical support and product information to staff and customers when required.
  • Liaise with Customers: You will liaise with customers and staff in a courteous manner.
  • Oversee On-the-Job Training: You will oversee on-the-job training of trades persons and apprentices.
