About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Workers' Compensation Professional to join our team at Willis Towers Watson. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality Workplace Risk and Workers' Compensation advice and services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Management: Manage clients' workplace risk programs, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services and identifying new business opportunities for the company.
  • Outsourced Return to Work Support: Provide Outsourced Return to Work support services for a range of clients, ensuring seamless integration with their existing programs.
  • Client Data Management: Maintain comprehensive client data and update accordingly, ensuring accurate and timely information is available to support business decisions.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Produce analytical written reports for clients, providing actionable insights to support their business needs.
  • Premium Renewals and Policy Placement: Complete premium renewals and policy placement of national workers' compensation insurance, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Premium Forecasting: Undertake premium forecasting, providing accurate and timely information to support business decisions.
  • Revenue Growth: Maximize the revenue generated from the existing client base by continual analysis of client profitability and maximization of group functions.
  • New Business Opportunities: Support Willis Towers Watson to seek and secure new business opportunities through cross-selling of broader Willis Towers Watson service offerings.
  • Compliance and Business Processes: Adhere to all compliance and business processes, ensuring the highest standards of quality and service delivery.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience in a workers' compensation role, or similar within an insurance or self-insurance environment, preferably in Queensland.
  • Knowledge: Demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of workers compensation claims principles and processes, and ideally how these vary by state.
  • Skills: Strong Microsoft Office and Excel skills, excellent report writing and correspondence skills, and strong verbal and written communication skills to provide clear explanations to clients when required.
  • Approach: A customer-centric approach to work, proactive time management skills, and a proven record of prioritizing workloads and meeting deadlines.
  • Delivering Results: Demonstrated experience delivering accurate services on time to ensure service and quality standards are met.
