Job Description
As an Advanced Medical Specialist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to geriatric patients in a dynamic and challenging environment. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in assessing and managing complex medical conditions that impact cognition and functional status.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality patient care, prioritizing safety and best practice guidelines
- Contribute to multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans
- Collaborate with colleagues to improve clinical outcomes and reduce readmissions
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and evidence-based practices
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Eligibility for registration with the Medical Board of Australia
- Previous experience as a Medical Registrar or PGY3+, with strong background in medical terms
- Sound clinical knowledge in assessment and management of patients
Benefits
This role offers a competitive salary package, including:
- Salary as per the NTG Medical Officer EBA – REG1-6 to SREG 1-2 ($118,703 – $176,838)
- Allowances and 11% super
- Hospital based salary packaging ($17,000 grossed up value) before tax
- Relocation support, including subsidised rent and removal of personal effects
