Job Title: Operational Asset Manager

The Australian Museum seeks an experienced Operational Asset Manager to join our Building Services team.

About the Role:

This is a full-time role offering opportunities for career development and a chance to work in a dynamic environment. You will be responsible for delivering the museum's facilities management and capital improvement program, including coordinating diverse facilities services and managing maintenance projects.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • To use your experience to deliver the museum's ambitious facilities management and capital improvement program.
  • To coordinate and manage a range of facilities services, including small-scale maintenance projects.
  • To support the delivery of other capital projects managed by the broader team.

Your Skills and Experience:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and/or equivalent industry experience.
  • Experience providing support in a facilities and building services environment with knowledge of air conditioning and electrical systems.
  • Project planning, management, and delivery skills, as well as contract management experience in a building services context.
  • Strong influencing and persuasion skills, with experience managing external contractors and internal stakeholders.
