As a fire alarm systems installer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety of people and property.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in installing and commissioning fire detection and alarm systems, as well as a strong understanding of fire detection equipment and relevant safety codes.

To succeed in this position, you must be a well-presented individual with excellent communication skills and a proactive problem solver. Trade certification in Electrical or Fire Protection Technology is also essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation and Commissioning: Install and commission fire detection and alarm systems to ensure they are functioning correctly and safely.
  • Reading and Interpreting Plans: Read and interpret fire protection plans to understand system requirements and specifications.
  • Compliance and Regulations: Ensure compliance with safety standards and local regulations by conducting regular inspections and audits.
  • Teamwork and Problem-Solving: Work effectively within a team or independently on project tasks, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues on-site.
  • Documentation and Sign Offs: Complete relevant documentation and obtain customer sign offs for completed projects.

Requirements:

  • Prior Experience: Prior experience in fire alarm systems installation is essential for this role.
  • Fire Detection Equipment: A strong understanding of fire detection equipment and relevant safety codes is required.
  • Trade Certification: Trade certification in Electrical or Fire Protection Technology is necessary for this position.
