Job Title: Fire Protection Specialist

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Engineer to join our team. The role involves close coordination with project managers, supervisors, engineers, and technicians to meet project objectives and compliance requirements.
About the Job

The successful candidate will play a key part in supporting the successful delivery of fire protection projects by providing engineering expertise, coordinating technical aspects, and ensuring quality standards are met throughout.

You will work collaboratively with design teams, subcontractors, site personnel, and suppliers to maintain project integrity. This includes reviewing drawings and design documentation to ensure compliance with codes, specifications, and project requirements.

In this role, you will be responsible for tracking and monitoring site progress to ensure technical accuracy and quality standards are met. You will also conduct inspections of systems as required and assist with RFIs, technical queries, and compliance documentation.

Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an engineering role, preferably in construction, fire protection services, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of Australian Standards related to fire systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively with site and office personnel.
  • Experience with project management software and tools such as Procore, AutoCAD, and MS Office.
