This role involves managing a ledger of significant value and working with various stakeholders to resolve accounts issues.

The key responsibilities of this position include:

  • Banking and allocation of monies paid
  • Processing End of Month Statements
  • Managing credit card payments via EFTPOS Machine
  • Collecting cheques/cash from customers as required
  • Communicating with customers to collect overdue accounts
  • Developing strong customer relationships
  • Liaising with Sales and Supply Chain departments as needed to resolve claims, debts, and other issues
  • Managing claims register and resolving any claims issues
  • Preparing accurate account reports
  • Carrying out account reconciliations

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Previous experience in Accounts Receivable/Credit
  • Intermediate computer skills with Word and Excel
  • Strong interpersonal skills to communicate with colleagues and customers
  • Attention to detail
  • Effective time management and problem resolution skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Team player with innovative approach and focus on continuous improvement
