This is a permanent full-time position working 38 hours per week, with rotating shifts.

About the Role

We are seeking highly skilled and dedicated individuals to join our team at Liverpool Hospital as Healthcare Support Associates. The successful candidates will be part of a dynamic team that provides high-quality care to patients, staff, and visitors.

  • Assist clinical teams in delivering patient care under their direction.
  • Provide general support within the ward environment, including patient transfers.
  • Perform security-related duties as required.
The Job Overview

As a Healthcare Support Associate, you will play a crucial role in supporting the care delivery team, assisting clinical staff in caring for patients, and ensuring the safety and security of everyone in the hospital.

You will be responsible for providing assistance to nursing teams in emergency departments, cleaning, portering for patient transfers, and undertaking security-related duties as required.

The hospital is currently undergoing a major redevelopment, which will enhance our facilities and capacity to meet future population growth.

We are close to public transport, shopping centers, and eateries in the heart of Liverpool City.

How to Apply

To be considered for this role, you must hold a current Class 1A NSW Security License, a Current First Aid Certificate, and an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Participation in a 7-day rotating roster that includes weekends, public holidays, and morning, afternoon, and night shifts is also required.
